Spoof Book Covers
Below are three of the book covers that would have been seen as the camera passed over them in a scene establishing the interests of the lead character.
The cover below with Agatha Auldbat contains a photo of a good friend of mine.
The Olive Hawthorne cover is a loving tribute to a great character from a great Doctor Who story, 'The Daemons'. Olive was played by the absolutely delightful Damaris Hayman.

|Plot & Background
Five people meet to discuss the weird and terrifying dreams they've been having. It will be a visually driven project, with elements of horror and psychology thrown in. The deliberate lack of dialogue in the script is due to the amount of time that the technical aspects of the production are envisaged to take.
It will be the first Misfits production to be shot entirely on Digital Video.
It is intended that this will be the first Misfits production to appear on DVD (and which would include extras). It is hoped that it will be edited by the end of 2005 though it has yet to be decided if editing will begin whilst the film is in production.
It is likely that the (music/sounds) soundtrack will be produced by a musician who has not worked on a Misfits project before, his name being Dave Parmer.
It is not yet possible to confirm that the whole soundtrack will be produced in Dolby 5.1 but it is certainly on the cards.
A number of props will have to be created (or bought) especially for the production.
First there was a script titled 'Screams Of The Forgotten', written by James Spence in 2002. After a rethink the script went through a major re-write in which only the ideas of the nightmares, along with the character names, were kept.
Other (working) titles by which 'No Devil In Wicca' has been known are: 'The Walpurgis Summons' and 'Walpurgis Night'.
Most of the filming of 'Wicca' is expected to take place in the early months of 2005.
|News Updates - This section will be updated with progress of the
Saturday 26th October 2002 Filming of some very atmospheric visuals took place in Abingdon. The first props needed for the production were purchased on this day too.
Monday 3rd January 2003 - Dave Parmer confirmed as the musician likely to produce the soundtrack for 'No Devil In Wicca'. Confirmation of three further cast members imminent.
Rest of 2003 / 2004 - The script has been undergoing further modifications to make it tighter and sinister. One character is likely to be dropped to make it tighter. Two scenes have been dropped and are being replaced by new ones.
